Sydney 3DE is delighted to announce that Christopher Bartle will be attending our event, 10-12 November 2023.

Following an illustrious career as a rider representing Great Britain in both Dressage and Eventing, Christopher has become one of the most successful Eventing coaches of all time.

For 16 years Christopher was National Coach to the German Olympic Eventing Team. Under his tenure the Germans won team silver and individual gold at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, team and individual gold medals at the London Olympics in 2012 and at the Beijing Olympics in 2008. 

In 2017 Christopher took on the role of High Performance Coach for the British Eventing Team.

Team GB have since won team and individual gold medals at the World Equestrian Games in 2018, team gold and individual silver at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games (held in 2021), team and all individual medals at the European Championships at in 2021 and the individual gold at the World Championships in Pratoni in 2022.   Most recently, Team GB won individual and team gold at the 2023 European Championships.

Before becoming a coach Christopher competed in dressage and eventing. He placed 6th individually in Dressage at the Los Angeles Olympic Games.  In 1997 he was part of the gold medal winning eventing team at the European Championships at Burghley. A year later, he won Badminton Horse Trials with World Perfect II and was reserve for the 2000 Olympic Games.

Christopher’s wealth of knowledge will be shared via a masterclass, presented by Equestrian NSW, on Friday evening of the Sydney 3DE, 10 November, in the indoor from 5pm.

He will coach two groups over cross country lines followed by three groups of straight dressage with horses from Novice to Grand Prix. This is an opportunity not to be missed by any equestrian fan. For tickets, please go to https://www.trybooking.com/CMKMC

On Saturday Christopher will be doing a guided walk of the 4* cross country course. If you would like to attend please meet at the front of the stables at 9.30am. This is open to everyone.
