NSW Govt Sport Grant provides shelters for Syd3DE volunteers

The Limitless Lodge Sydney International Three Day Event has purchased 52 sun shelters proudly funded by the NSW Government. The NSW Office of Sport – Local Sport Grant Program 2023/24 provided a grant of $9500 to allow Sydney International 3DE to purchase the gazebos for our volunteers and officials to use at events, providing essential protection from the weather. Andrew Barnett and ‘Go Tosca’ take out 2023 CCI4*

The Sydney 3 Day Event (Sydney 3DE) concluded today at Sydney International Equestrian Centre (SIEC) with the jumping phase across all grades and, as was expected with such tightly packed leaderboards, an exciting finale it certainly was! In the CCI4* Andrew Barnett and Go Tosca leading the competition right from the start, had a lovely jumping round to seal the deal on their win. Cross Country Perfection on Day 2

The Sydney 3 Day Event (Sydney 3DE) has run the cross-country phase of the competition today at Sydney International Equestrian Centre (SIEC) and you couldn’t have asked for a much better day.  It was a little warm, but a nice light breeze and finishing early afternoon minimised any impacts from the heat.   In the CCI4* Andrew Barnett and ‘Go Tosca’ have solidified their lead, just picking up 3.6 time faults – taking their overall score to 28.9. Kenya Wilson and Sandros Salute MW made a big leap up the board to sit in second after a great cross-country phase and not adding to their Dressage score.

A magic start to the 2023 Sydney 3DE

The Sydney 3 Day Event (Sydney 3DE) has kicked off at Sydney International Equestrian Centre (SIEC) with 352 combinations completing the Dressage phase of their competition across 6 arenas. The weather couldn’t have been nicer for this first day of competition with the sun shining with a gentle breeze keeping temperatures under control. The main Dressage arenas, looking fantastic fringed by the trade stands and sponsors tents, hosted the CCN1*, CCI3* and CCI4* classes today. SYD3DE Preview

As the start of the SYD3DE draws near, let’s take a look at the 4* combinations and the program for 2023. The Bates Saddles CCI4*L will be a very competitive field. Riders are coming from far and wide.
