The Sydney International Three Day Event (Syd3de) committee is delighted to announce Ariat as the naming rights sponsor for the 2022 event.
Ariat has been a long-time supporter of the event and Syd3de are grateful for their increased contribution this year.
Event President David Irwin said he was pleased to partner with Ariat.
“Ariat is a quality company that has been synonymous with Equestrian sport for as long as I can remember. We are honoured to have them as naming rights sponsor and look forward to working with them to produce a great event,” Mr. Irwin said.
“The Sydney International Three Day Event is grateful to Ariat for their backing,” added Mr Irwin.
Ariat’s footwear and riding apparel are developed to suit the needs of world-class equestrian athletes and equine enthusiasts alike.
“Our advanced technology helps riders perform at their peak, so it’s an exciting opportunity to continue partnering with an elite event such as the Sydney International Three Day Event,” said Terry Donohue, Ariat Australia’s Managing Director.
The event which runs from 6-8 May, will have classes from grassroots levels through to CCI4* incorporating hundreds of competitors including Australia’s leading riders and horses and will serve as an important competition ahead of the World Equestrian Championships in Italy later this year.
Event Coordinator Shane Rose says the event plays a key role.
“It’s a really important event for the Australian calendar,” said Mr. Rose.
“At the top end of the event we run 2,3 and 4 star long and short which enables all the FEI combinations to participate no matter where they are in their program. They all get to benefit from this event, with top-quality cross-country courses, international judges and the atmosphere that comes with a major competition.”
The 4 star riders will enjoy courses designed by Stuart Tinney, whilst Chris Ross (NZL) will be designing the 2 and 3 star courses.
Shane Rose will also be at the helm for the 60cm – 1 star cross-country courses.
The Sydney International Three Day Event will be held at the Sydney International Equestrian Centre, Horsley Park from May 6 to 8, 2022. Entry is free.
