The Thoroughbred Legacy Championship for Amateur Riders

Presented by the ATC Foundation

Providing new opportunities for Thoroughbreds

Sydney International 3DE and the ATC Foundation are launching the Thoroughbred Legacy Championships. This strategic partnership will give former racehorses and amateur riders a championship experience in a high-quality competition setting. The program combines a dedicated CCN1*-L thoroughbred class and dedicated showjumping classes with education on retraining and life after racing, creating new post-racing opportunities and supporting better welfare outcomes.

Competition pathway

The feature Thoroughbred Legacy Championship to be held at CCN1*-L, is reserved for thoroughbreds ridden by amateur riders.
