Covid Update- Syd3de is still going ahead

Spectators are welcome and encouraged to attend Syd3de. We are a predominately outdoor event .

The NSW Government has released a Media Release outlining COVID-19 restriction update for the Greater Sydney Region.

See the update and on the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update | Office of Sport (nsw.gov.au) webpage. This is implemented from 5pm Thursday 6 May until 12:01am Monday 10 May.    

 Please note that people will be required to wear masks while spectating in the indoor arena. We request that people bring masks to the Saturday night GiddiUp Riders’ Party. We will have some available if you do not have your own with you.

Advice for Community Sport Activities

The Office of Sport has sought clarification from NSW Health and can advise the following information relating to community sport and recreation activities at indoor venues:

·  People attending indoor venues are required to wear a mask. This includes indoor recreation facilities, gyms and pools.

·  People engaging in exercise or physical activity at all indoor venues (i.e. training or competing) will not be required to wear a mask while engaging in the activity.

·  Spectators WILL be required to wear a mask at indoor venues.

·  The mask wearing requirement will not apply to:

·  a person aged 12 years or under and/or

·  a person with a physical or mental health illness or condition, or disability, that makes wearing a fitted face covering unsuitable including, for example, a skin condition, an intellectual disability, autism or trauma.
